Traditionally, our in-person NAHSL conferences have had raffle tables to raise funds for our Professional Development Scholarship funding opportunities. As the current times are still uncertain, we decided to support humans and animals in need. We hope you agree and will generously give to those in need.
NAHSL members donated a total of $975 in contributions over the course of the conference. With NAHSL matching up to $1000 in donations, the final grand total collected is $1975! Below is the official breakdown of how our collected funds were donated:

Doctors Without Borders: Doctors Without Borders is an international humanitarian medical non-governmental organization (NGO) of French origin best known for its projects in conflict zones and in countries affected by endemic diseases. It is an independent, global movement providing medical aid where it is needed most, irrespective of race, religion, creed or political affiliation.
Feeding America Feeding America is a United States–based nonprofit organization that is a nationwide network of more than 200 food banks that feed more than 46 million people through food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and other community-based agencies. As food insecurity rates hold steady at the highest levels ever, the Feeding America network of food banks has risen to meet the need. We feed 40 million people at risk of hunger, including 12 million children and 7 million seniors.
Northeast Animal Shelter Northeast Animal Shelter, established in 1976, is one of New England’s largest non-profit animal shelters. Since opening our doors, we have placed over 145,000 cats and dogs in responsible, loving homes. Northeast Animal Shelter is proud of our many programs, such as Saving Homeless Pets Across America, the Community Pet Food Bank, Foster Care, and Senior Visitation. Northeast Animal Shelter receives no local, state or federal funding and is entirely dependent on contributions from people like you to cover its annual operating budget. ShelterBox ShelterBox is an international disaster relief charity established in 2000 that provides emergency shelter and other aid items to families around the world who have lost their homes to disaster or conflict. Typical ShelterBox aid items include tents as temporary shelter or shelter kits to allow people to build or rebuild durable shelters. ShelterBox also provides other aid items such as mosquito nets, water filters, water carriers, solar lights, cooking sets, blankets and mats. A sturdy green box packed with the necessary aid items is often provided to families in places where ShelterBox responds.
