Examples of harassing behavior include, but are not limited to, the following:
Making hurtful and unwelcome comments related to age, gender, gender identification, personal beliefs, physical appearance, physical or cognitive ability, or race
Making unwelcome or inappropriate physical contact
Exhibiting lewd, bullying, or threatening behavior towards others
Stalking others in person or online
NAHSL is dedicated to providing a safe and respectful experience at the annual meeting. Any participants engaging in harassing behavior may be warned or asked to leave by the conference planning committee members or hotel security. If you are being harassed, observe another participant being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a conference planning committee member. Conference planning committee members will have identifying ribbons on their name tags and may also be found on the NAHSL 2021 website's Planning Committee page. You may email any of the committee members for less urgent matters or submit an anonymous online form should you feel uncomfortable reaching out in person. All reports and inquiries will be handled in confidence.
